Impregnating Kapten & Son backpacks? We take care for you
From the moment you hold your Kapten & Son backpack in your hands, it has already been waterproofed to protect it from moisture and dirt. So you don't have to worry about your new acquisition! If you want to freshen up the protection at some point, you can treat the rPET (recycled PET) with an impregnation spray suitable for Tex materials.
We advise you to test the spray on an inconspicuous area beforehand and to keep the recommended distance. Please keep in mind that the warranty on your backpack is voided as soon as you waterproof it yourself. The vegan tech material is already water-repellent, so you do not need to take any further action here.

Cleaning the Kapten & Son backpack: how to gently clean our material
1. Vegan Tech-Material
The best way to clean this is with a mixture of mild soap and lukewarm water. Work on the affected areas in circular or zigzag movements with a cotton cloth, remove the excess with a dry cloth and then allow the backpack to dry in the air.
For more persistent stains you can also use an eraser.
2. RPET
To clean these areas on your Kapten & Son backpack, mix a small amount of shampoo with water and proceed as for the vegan tech material (step 1) to remove stains and dirt. 👆
3. No Gos:
Can Kapten & Son backpacks be washed? To avoid damaging your backpack, you should not wash it in the washing machine or use chemical cleaning agents. You can use simple household products to remove coarse dirt without damaging the material.
